Lunch today was interesting. Since there aren’t that many of us in the office today our boss let everyone order whatever they wanted from this new Italian place in Park Ridge called Ridgemont Pizza. What I meant by the meal being interesting is that we all ate in the conference room together. Definitely a new experience, but I kinda liked it. Everyone was sharing everything and it had almost a family like feeling to it.
Anyway, the food wasn’t that bad. The bolognese sauce that I ordered wasn’t exactly the chunky meat sauce with lots of tomatoes and garlic that the menu says it is, but it still tasted decent. Then again, I don’t see myself ever choosing to eat at this place in the future. You can interpret that however you want…

I love penne pasta with red sauce. and meat. and cheese.
hmm yes i like cheese wheres all the cheese??
family feeling at work? your work always sounds pretty cool.
I think it is great that you guys ate in a group/family setting like that. It should help to increase team work. My office group goes out to lunch every Friday. We eat off site/out of the office so that no one feels they have to eat quickly to get back to work. We almost always talk about our project at hand. It is really relaxed. Just a nice setting.
I work in the area and I go only for the pizza.
why would you order pasta at a pizza place? the pizza there is really good, but actually i almost never eat pizza. the salads are amazing. you should give it another chance.
