Our long drive from Jersey City to Philadelphia had a delicious conclusion at Pat’s King of Steaks.
Like everyone who commented in last night’s post, I like Pat’s a lot more than Geno’s so it was obviously our cheesesteak of choice. It was unfortunately was quite cold and windy outside, and we were forced to eat in my rather uncomfortable car.
The most important thing, however, was the fact that our cheesesteaks were amazing. I was telling Eric in the car how I wished I didn’t get those French fries so that I could get a second cheesesteak (I know, I’m going to get so fat).
Someone earlier in the day told us about the Lorenzo’s-Jim’s challenge that involves eating a Jim’s cheesesteak wrapped inside of a Lorenzo’s slice of pizza. I’m actually quite intrigued and said that I’d think about doing it after I get back from Korea. Who’s with me?
