After lunch at So Kong Dong I thought it would be a good idea to walk over to the Palisades Park Bakery that Eric’s Mom (hi Mom!) recommended. I actually walked right up to the counter and read off exactly what Mom wrote from my iPhone. I ended up getting one of those Apple Turnovers for each of us (only seventy cents a piece!) and a pecan danish ring pie.
- The apple turnovers there were 900 times better than those stupid ones you buy individually packed in stores like 7 11. They seemed to be less sweet than you’d think they be and baked to just the right level of crispiness. Come to Fort Lee, and I’ll buy you one.
- To be honest, I never actually tried any of the pecan danish. I don’t know, why, but I was never in the mood for something sweet all weekend. Hana ended up eating most of it in AC and took the rest home. The point is, she absolutely loved it. I think she’d trade her first born for another one of those pies.
Thanks Mom for the recommendations! Keep them coming.

I’m disappointed. I thought you ate that entire danish by yourself. WEAK.
Yo that danish ring is the shiznit!!! During the holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas, the line leading up to the door is insane.

Stop being cheap and give me my apple turnover.
