Well, it was bound to happen.  I finally lost in Atlantic City on Friday.  I should have known that it was going to be a quigley day after we had to evacuate the building during lunch when we were at the new Fire and Oak restaurant in Montvale, NJ.

Before that fantastic fire alarm went off (for like a half hour!), I must say that I was quite impressed by the new restaurant.  The atmosphere was nice, the service there was awesome, and the food was quite kickass.  Get the caesar salad and steak, and you won’t be let down.  Though everyone else’s food looked delicious too…

As long as we don’t have another incident where we have to evacuate the building again, I have a feeling that I will be visiting Fire and Oak in Montvale, NJ a lot more often.  In fact, anyone in the North Jersey area up for going to happy hour there sometime next month?
