I’m falling so far behind posting my meals that I’m starting to get pissed off at myself for continually putting it off. Okay, I just decided tonight that I’m going to skip dinner so that I’ll be one post closer to being caught up.
Now that’s settled, let’s talk about Saturday:
- We had a four hour long Simande meeting at Baumgart’s Cafe in Edgewater. It’s a beautiful location on the water across from NYC, just hard to find if you’ve never been there before.
- Baumgart itself is a very interesting concept. Their website tags themself as a Chinese and American restaurant, which leads to a very interesting menu of food. Things they serve:
- Chinese Food (typical Americanized Chinese food)
- American Food (eggs, hamburgers, hotdogs, sandwiches, wraps)
- Japanese Food (sushi)
- Homemade ice cream
- Eric paid for everyone’s meal on Saturday, so the $11 dollars in the title of this post is from the coffee at Panera bread that I bought everyone.
- The sushi I had there was very meh. Not much flavor at all. The General Tso’s Chicken was good though. I’m not sure what it was, but I’d like to try what Yin was eating next time though. The ice cream was the greatest part of the meal though. Absolutely delicious. Okay you convinced me, I’m going back there for more right now. Bye.
