Paul and I had a scheduled meeting at 1PM so we were semi forced to eat closer to the office. Pan, Christine, Christine, Paul, and I decided to hit up Gen again in that shopping center that includes The Gym in Montvale.
Typically I would get the Filet Mignon Hibachi with Paul, but I wasn’t quite feelin’ it. Instead I got the beef negimaki and shrimp tempura, which was decent in taste but not quite filling. I don’t know what happened to the salad though. That thing tasted so bad that I could only eat maybe half of it. I guess that a bad salad isn’t the worst thing in the world, but I’m still kinda surprised that something so simple could be screwed up.
Today’s lunch price is a little high because I promised to buy Christine lunch for making me my new banner. She ordered some noodle looking thing and had a few complaints about that as well. I’m not sure what exactly was wrong with it, but she didn’t eat any of the shrimp in her dish because they tasted weird. Pretty weak, Gen. Pretty weak.

Lunch in that shopping center is never a good idea.
THAT PLACE SUCKS, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND ALL THAT IS GOOD IN THIS WORLD, PLEASE STOP GOING THERE!!!! EVERY DOLLAR YOU GIVE THEM MAKES CRAPPY FOOD SURVIVE LONGER!!!!
That salad does not look cool!
What is it with shopping centers, food is always crud!
Massive Kudos to the banner maker! She’s a star!
What a talented friend you got there. Your banner is uber cutie.
eric, i think you are onto something…
Definitely love the new banner.
And hum, that salad topping looks a little off. No wonder it was gross tasting.
This reminds me of the Lunch Box Special at Moshi Moshi in Philadelphia at 18th & Chestnut. It has all the same food items as pictured above, but it’s delicious!!! I highly recommend it when you’re in the city next for lunch!!!
