It has been over six months since I’ve moved up here, and I still have not been able to find a church that I feel comfortable at.
On New Years Eve I talked to Young about my little predicament, and he offered to bring me to his church with his family. His wife unfortunately could not make it to this mornings service, but I did get to see his parents and niece and nephew.
We actually went to both the English and Korean services today and then stayed for lunch afterward. It was interesting. Even though I could only understand about 5% of the Korean service, Young helped translate most of it for me, and they gave me that fancy looking rose below.
Anyway, I’m happy to report that enjoyed my time there, and I think that I will give this church another shot when I get back from Korea. Though I don’t know if I’ll do both services again. That’s a lot of churching for one day.
