As many of you know, 2009 has been a great year for us here at Simande. Thank you to all of our friends who have helped and supported as we went through what I can only assume are typical start-up growing pains. Anyway, the only real loser in 2009 was my blog, I Blog What I Eat, as it was lovingly nudged to the side while we were busy building great things. I decided the best way to end the year would be to have another Christmas contest.
Since you were all good boys and girls this year (and I don’t have enough time to go to the store), the winner this year will receive the Harry & David Tower of Treats Gourmet Gift basket. So while I’m stuck in the Simande office eating NYC street cart coffee and bagels, you will get to eat some Royal Riviera pears, apples, mixed nuts, bing cherry chocolates, and assorted chocolate truffles. I hear the pears are good stuff. Like really good stuff. Like an orgasm in your mouth. Ew. Carrying on…
Winning this Tower of Treats Gourmet Gift basket is easy. You have to do two things. First, become a fan of this blog on Facebook. If you already are a fan then you’re half-way there. Second, write on the iblogwhatieat Facebook fanpage Wall and tell me what your favorite food to eat around the holidays is. You don’t have to tell me why, but that’d be nice. Easy, right? I’ll pick a winner on Tuesday and let you know.

So there’s a holiday prize but not a prize for the poutine identification contest? Jipped!
Okay, I will become a fan of your blog on Fbook. Here I go, wheee!
Come up with some questions, start a video chat with Matt while I’m in the room, and I will post a completely truncated and inaccurate summary of the interview. I also just realized yesterday that half of the song PYSCHO KILLER by THE TALKING HEADS is in French.
